The is a study of the head and shoulders of the figure that will be the focal point in the next “Feminine Mystique” (FM) digital painting. I’m happy with the face and the flowers in the figure’s hair – but I’m reworking the hands, arms and the rest of the figure. As mentioned earlier in this blog – the model for the woman in this artwork is my late sister, Joyce (from a photo of her taken in the mid 1960’s). Although she never traveled to Glendalough – I know that if she did she would share my feelings for the place.
I’m having difficulty coming up with a name of this FM artwork – for now I will refer to it as “Glendalough With Figure”
